Hi, I'm a Chinese actress trained at Guildford School of Acting. I'm a very patient and friendly reader and I'll try my best to help you with your tape!
I'm a Chinese actress and have recently graduated from Guildford School of Acting in 2024. In training, I honed my acting both in classic and contemporary theatre and on screen, as well as developing my skills as a writer and creator. I'm interested in both drama and dark comedy. As an actor, I played a range of naive, emotionally vulnerable and vicious characters. With a smiley appearance, I have a particular interest in characters with dark nature. As a writer and creator, I have written several short films and recently created a solo show called "Fly", which is in the style of children theatre for adults.
I began performing on stage in the drama club of my university where I found my passion for acting. Falling in love with its truthfulness, freedom and connection, I decided to pursue acting as a life long career. Meanwhile, I'm also bound with movement. I love contemporary dance, and after several workshops with Frantic Assembly, I fell in love with physical theatre. The direct and intimate connection between people and the strong and instinctive storytelling moves her more than anything.
Outside acting, deeply rooted in my culture, I'm also a highly skilled player of a Chinese traditional board game, Weiqi (the game of Go). And I play a Chinese traditional musical instrument called Guqin.
