Hailing from Atlanta, Georgia, James cultivated his passion for performance from a young age. James pursued his academic interests at Stanford University, where he earned a degree in Management Science and Engineering. During his time at Stanford, he excelled both academically and athletically, showcasing his leadership skills as the starting running back on the football team. His dedication to excellence extended beyond sports, as he was also actively involved in Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc.
Following his time at Stanford, James ventured into professional football, briefly signing with the Oakland Raiders before transitioning to pursue his unexpected true passion: acting.
